Logan Paul is putting his money where his mouth is, offering $1 million to any active NFL player willing to step into the boxing ring with him. The bold challenge, issued on a recent episode of his ImPaulsive podcast, has already caught the attention of several professional football players.
Paul didn’t hold back when making his case. “Not a single football player could beat me in a boxing match, that is on God,” he declared. He name-dropped stars like Myles Garrett, Puka Nacua, Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Sam Darnold, insisting none of them would stand a chance. “A million dollars. You come to the gym, we put on boxing gloves, we’ll see how it goes. There’s levels to this,” he added.
The challenge didn’t sit idle for long. Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Kingsley Suamataia and Dallas Cowboys lineman Brock Hoffman both responded, prompting Paul to fire back with a concrete proposal. “You actually down? $1M bet. Money in escrow. 3 professional judges. Six three minute rounds here in Puerto Rico. 10oz gloves. Can have it drawn up,” he wrote, seemingly eager to make it official.
But not everyone throwing their hat in the ring is getting a warm reception. Former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell also volunteered, suggesting a fight during NFL draft weekend in Pittsburgh this April. Paul, however, was quick to shut that down.
His reasons were blunt: Bell is no longer in the league, he has actual boxing experience, and—perhaps most importantly—Paul doesn’t see a financial upside. “There’s no money here because you’re not a draw,” Paul responded. “Ofc YOU want the opportunity, I’m a goldmine for retirees like you.”
For now, the ball is in the court of any active NFL player bold enough to accept. Whether anyone actually laces up the gloves remains to be seen, but the trash talk is already in full swing.
