Prince Harry is facing fresh complications in his efforts to reunite with his family, as discussions around a potential UK visit with Meghan Markle this summer have hit a snag.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were reportedly considering bringing their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to the UK as part of ongoing peace talks between Harry and his father, King Charles.
However, according to Heat Magazine, Meghan has presented a lengthy list of prerequisites that is creating friction—just as Harry works to repair ties with the royals.
“Meghan is insisting on staying at Apartment 1A and wants an entire advance team sent in before their arrival,” a source revealed.
From private chefs to specially trained nannies for the young Sussexes, the Duchess is said to be “ruffling feathers with her Hollywood-style demands,” which some insiders describe as excessive.
Meanwhile, Harry is treading carefully, especially after his recent meeting with King Charles at Clarence House—a moment widely viewed as a meaningful step toward reconciliation.
The Duke is acutely aware of the stakes. “One wrong move and there may be no way back—for their royal future or for their relationship with the family,” the source added.
There are also concerns about how the Prince and Princess of Wales might react. Harry reportedly fears that if William and Catherine catch wind of Meghan’s requests, “they’ll be horrified.”
