The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing for a trip to Australia next month, though their two children will be staying behind.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet are not expected to accompany their parents on the journey, which will see Harry and Meghan take part in a mix of personal, professional, and charitable activities.
Confirming the visit, a representative for the couple shared: “Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will travel to Australia in mid-April for a series of private, business, and philanthropic engagements. Additional information will be provided closer to the time.”
The upcoming visit marks their first return to Australia since their 2018 royal tour, which took place just five months after their wedding. That trip became especially memorable when Meghan’s pregnancy with Archie was revealed shortly after their arrival.
Last month, the couple spent two days in Jordan, where they focused on humanitarian issues—particularly efforts supporting the health and well-being of Syrian and Palestinian refugees. During the visit, they connected with young cancer patients and their families at the King Hussein Cancer Centre, offering comfort as they listened to their personal stories.
Harry also spoke with individuals at the National Centre for Rehabilitation of Addicts, encouraging them to use their experiences to help others. “There’s no shame in having an addiction,” he told the group, urging them to give back to their communities.
