With just one week to go until its March 10 debut, Netflix has unveiled the final trailer for the highly anticipated second season, One Piece: Into the Grand Line.
The minute-and-forty-four-second clip kicks off with a reflective monologue from Monkey D. Luffy, who reminds his Straw Hat crew just how far they’ve traveled to finally stand at the threshold of the fabled Grand Line. He hints that it’s time for the pirates to discover what challenges and wonders await them in that legendary stretch of ocean.
True to the series’ signature scale, the trailer is packed with colossal sights, including the imposing Red Line, the massive whale Laboon, the prehistoric island of Little Garden with its dinosaurs, and the towering giant, Brogy. Viewers also get a brief glimpse of Luffy in a tense standoff with Captain Smoker, while the beloved reindeer doctor, Tony Tony Chopper, makes another quick appearance following his reveal in the official trailer.
Action is front and center, with plenty of combat sequences. Roronoa Zoro is shown fiercely defending the crew during a showdown at Whisky Peak, and the trailer concludes with a look at the villainous Wapol using his Munch-Munch powers to transform his metal body against Luffy.
Keeping the energy high, the entire trailer is backed by an upbeat remix of the classic anthem “Come Sail Away,” a stylistic choice that echoes the excitement of the first season. Fans won’t have to wait long to dive back in—all eight episodes of One Piece: Into the Grand Line will drop on Netflix come March 10.
